We are going here next week to celebrate our friend's 25 th anniversary. I purchased a gift card from them over the phone and I had a bad dream about my careless behavior. So my brother and I went to the restaurant yesterday to get a receipt and a couple of menus. When we arrived the hostess assured us all is well and ... showed us the card and receipt, safely sealed in an envelope. I had nothing to worry about! Apparently lots of people do the same thing. We decided to order a sandwich to go and went to sit down in a little room off to the side of the entrance " where you go to wait to be seated". And before I had a chance to sit down someone brought our order to us! I've never been to New York, but that had to have been less than a "New York minute"!!!
